The described size of the buckles is based one opening for the lace not of on the actual size of the whole buckle.<br />

There is no scale noted here because different sizes of buckles are used on every tack. As a small pointer a buckle with 1,8&#8221; would fit good on a halter in a scale of 1:9 (Traditional)<br />

Ultimately everybody can and should decide which buckles would fit their project best.
